Wonderful place to stay. Multiple options from Tent spaces, RV parking, Cabins, and hotel type accommodations. Everything was super clean. Staff was available all the time. The Thai and Mexican food truck options was an unexpected pleasure. I will definitely return. The water from the sink in the room was not drinkable water. It was as silty as the water in the river behind the hotel. It looked beautiful from my balcony; not in my drinking cup. When I mentioned this to the front desk the staff asked me if I was "promised drinkable water when I checked in." No. No I was not. Some things you just sort of assume are included! The staff overall was genuinely disinterested in helping us with a few other things. I stayed at the Grand Denali Lodge as well while we were in Denali. It was only about $50 more per night. I wish that I would have just spent all three nights there. amazing location, great rooms right on the river, music of flowing water just takes away all your stress in minutes, so refreshing climate in the morning. Thai food joint on site is so delicious, never though we will have such a tasty great asian food in middle of nowhere in Alaska! The water is NOT DRINKABLE! At checkout I complained about the water to the Bulgarian women at the front desk and she said to me "Were you promised drinkable water at check-in? This is the cheapest place in town." The room was $259 a night! The water has a funny resemblance to the grey, silty river water running right by the hotel. They did not offer to discount our room due to the water and only insultingly asked the above question and also stated that they drink the water all the time. The only "restaurants" on the premise are two food trucks. For the price you are much better off staying closer to the park entrance. Nice place to park the RV. Sites a bit small, but very convenient for going to Denali National Park. Did not stay in lodge or cabins but they were attractive and well placed for views.
